Level 1 - Beginners classes are for students who have not done yoga before or who wish to practice at a more moderate pace. All the basic yoga poses are taught and the class size is limited so you get personalised attention. As well as actual Beginners, the students who attend Level 1/Beginners classes may be returning to yoga after a break, after childbirth, recovering from injury or illness or they may be older, or stiffer, or they feel like practicing at a gentler pace.
